Abstract
A heat-developable photosensitive material having: (a) at least one layer of photosensitive image-forming layer containing an organic silver salt, a photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent and an organic binder; and (b) a functional layer containing a binder and a solid dispersion; the binder consisting of a water-dispersed thermoplastic resin, and the solid dispersion being made of a precursor of a photographically useful compound capable of releasing the photographically useful compound when heated to 100° C. or higher and not higher than heat development temperature is disclosed.
Claims11
A heat-developable photosensitive material comprising:
- (a) at least one layer of photosensitive image-forming layer containing an organic silver salt, a photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent and an organic binder;
- and
- (b) a layer containing a binder and a solid dispersion;
- the binder consisting of a water-dispersed thermoplastic resin, and the sold dispersion being made of a precursor of a photographically useful compound capable of releasing the photographically useful compound when heated to 100° C. or higher and not higher than heat development temperature,
- wherein said photographically useful compound is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of antifogging agents, development inhibitors, development accelerators and image stabilizing agents.
A heat-developable photosensitive material comprising:
- (a) at least on layer of a photosensitive image-forming layer containing an organic silver salt, a photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent and an organic binder;
- and
- (b) a layer containing a binder and a solid dispersion, wherein the binder consists of a water-dispersed thermoplastic resin, and the solid dispersion is a precursor selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by formula (1) below:
- R10—CHR11—CR12R13—A11 (1)
- wherein,
- R10 represents an electron attractive group;
- R11, R12 and R13 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, which may be substituted, or an aryl group, which may be substituted;
- and
- A11 represents a photographically useful group bonded through a hetero atom;
- or
- compounds represented by formula (2) below:
- R21—SO2—R22 (2)
- wherein,
- R21 represents a heterocyclic group having formula (4):
- wherein X represents an atomic group required for forming a five- or six-membered hetero ring, where the hetero ring may be monocyclic or may form a condensed ring together with other rings and the heterocyclic group of formula (4) may have further substituents;
- and
- R22 represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group, an aryl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group or a heterocyclic group, all of which may be substituted,
- wherein the photographically useful group is a precursor to a photographically useful compound, which is at least one compound selected from group consisting of antifogging agents, development inhibitors, development accelerators and image stabilizing agents.
