Web processing system

A web processing system having at least a winding device for winding a web, said winding device comprising:

• a drive shaft;
• a torque transmitter;
• a support fixed to said torque transmitter, said support comprising an annular member having spaces defined therein;
• an annular conductor pressed against and secured to an outer circumferential surface of said support;
• and
• a holder rotatably mounted on said drive shaft in covering relation to said support such that a portion of said support extends into said holder, for winding the web therearound, said holder supporting on an inner circumferential surface thereof a magnet row of a plurality of magnets (208) with a magnet holder, said magnet row facing said annular conductor.

A web processing system having at least a winding device for winding a web, said winding device comprising:

• a drive shaft having a ring, said drive shaft has a hollow space defined therein;
• an annular conductor pressed against and secured to an outer circumferential surface of said ring;
• a holder rotatably mounted on said drive shaft in covering relation to said ring, for winding the web therearound;
• said holder supporting on an inner circumferential surface thereof a magnet row of a plurality of magnets, said magnet row facing said annular conductor;
• and
• cooling means for cooling at least said drive shaft and said holder,
• wherein said cooling means has cooling air introducing means for introducing cooling air from outside of said holder into said holder and said hollow space in said drive shaft, and
• wherein said cooling air introducing means includes:
• a first cooling air passage for guiding said cooling air into said holder;
• a second cooling air passage disposed in said ring;
• and
• a third cooling air passage disposed in a portion of said drive shaft covered by said ring for guiding the cooling air introduced into said holder into said hollow space in said drive shaft.

A web processing system having at least a winding device for winding a web, said winding device comprising:

• a drive shaft having a ring;
• an annular conductor pressed against and secured to an outer circumferential surface of said ring;
• and
• a holder rotatably mounted on said drive shaft in covering relation to said ring, for winding the web therearound;
• said holder supporting on an inner circumferential surface thereof a magnet row of a plurality of magnets, said magnet row facing said annular conductor,
• wherein said magnet row comprises at least one magnet row,
• wherein the magnets of said magnet row are spaced at a constant pitch, and
• wherein before said magnets are mounted in place, all the magnets are measured for the strength of magnetic forces, and those magnets whose magnetic forces are weaker and those permanent magnets whose magnetic forces are stronger are alternately arranged.

A web processing system having at least a winding device for winding a web, said winding device comprising:

• a drive shaft having a torque transmitter;
• a support fixed to said torque transmitter;
• an annular conductor pressed against and secured to an outer circumferential surface of said support;
• and
• a holder rotatably mounted on said drive shaft in covering relation to said support, for winding the web therearound, said holder supporting on an inner circumferential surface thereof a magnet row of a plurality of magnets (208) with a magnet holder, said magnet row facing said annular conductor;
• wherein said magnet row comprises at least one magnet row,
• wherein the magnets of said magnet row are spaced at a constant pitch, and
• wherein before said magnets are mounted in place, all the magnets are measured for the strength of magnetic forces, and those magnets whose magnetic forces are weaker and those permanent magnets whose magnetic forces are stronger are alternately arranged.

A web processing system having at least a winding device for winding a web, said winding device comprising:

• a drive shaft having a ring;
• an annular conductor pressed against and secured to an outer circumferential surface of said ring;
• a holder rotatably mounted on said drive shaft in covering relation to said ring, for winding the web therearound;
• a winding core formed from an outside portion of said holder;
• said holder supporting on an inner circumferential surface thereof a magnet row of a plurality of magnets, said magnet row facing said annular conductor;
• and
• cooling means for cooling at least said drive shaft and said holder, said cooling means has cooling air introducing means for introducing cooling air from an area external to said holder and said winding core, wherein said drive shaft has a hollow space defined therein,
• wherein said cooling air introducing means comprises,
• a first cooling air passage for guiding said cooling air into said holder;
• a second cooling air passage disposed in said ring;
• and
• a third cooling air passage disposed in a portion of said drive shaft covered by said ring for guiding the cooling air introduced into said holder into said hollow space in said drive shaft.

A web processing system having at least a winding device for winding a web, said winding device comprising:

• a drive shaft having a ring;
• an annular conductor pressed against and secured to an outer circumferential surface of said ring;
• a holder rotatably mounted on said drive shaft in covering relation to said ring, for winding the web therearound;
• a winding core formed from an outside portion of said holder;
• said holder supporting on an inner circumferential surface thereof a magnet row of a plurality of magnets, said magnet row facing said annular conductor;
• and
• cooling means for cooling at least said drive shaft and said holder, said cooling means has cooling air introducing means for introducing cooling air from an area external to said holder and said winding core, wherein said magnet row comprises at least one magnet row, and wherein the magnets of said magnet row are spaced at a constant pitch, and wherein before said magnets are mounted in place, all the magnets are measured for the strength of magnetic forces, and those magnets whose magnetic forces are weaker and those permanent magnets whose magnetic forces are stronger are alternately arranged.

A web processing system having at least a winding device for winding a web, said winding device comprising:

• a drive shaft;
• a torque transmitter;
• a support fixed to said torque transmitter;
• an annular conductor pressed against and secured to an outer circumferential surface of said support;
• a holder rotatably mounted on said drive shaft in covering relation to said support, for winding the web therearound, said holder supporting on an inner circumferential surface thereof a magnet row of a plurality of magnets (208) with a magnet holder, said magnet row facing said annular conductor;
• and
• cooling means for cooling at least said drive shaft and said holder, wherein said drive shaft has a hollow space defined therein, and said cooling means has cooling air introducing means for introducing cooling air from outside of said holder into said holder and said hollow space in said drive shaft, wherein said cooling air introducing means comprises,
• a first cooling air passage for guiding said cooling air into said holder;
• and
• a second cooling air passage disposed in a portion of said drive shaft covered by said holder for guiding the cooling air introduced into said holder into said hollow space in said drive shaft.

A web processing system having at least a winding device for winding a web, said winding device comprising:

• a drive shaft;
• a torque transmitter;
• a support fixed to said torque transmitter;
• an annular conductor pressed against and secured to an outer circumferential surface of said support;
• and
• a holder rotatably mounted on said drive shaft in covering relation to said support, for winding the web therearound, said holder supporting on an inner circumferential surface thereof a magnet row of a plurality of magnets (208) with a magnet holder, said magnet row facing said annular conductor, wherein said magnet row comprises at least one magnet row, and wherein the magnets of said magnet row are spaced at a constant pitch.
