Abstract
The invention concerns a method for preparation of a liquid polymer composition, where ethylenically unsaturated monomers are polymerized by means of initiators that have a transferable atomic group, and one or more catalysts that contain at least one transition metal, in the presence of ligands that can form a coordination compound with the metallic catalysts, the catalyst is oxidized after the polymerization and then the catalyst is separated by filtration, where the composition contains a solvent with a dielectric constant less than or equal to 4.

A method for preparation of a liquid polymer composition, in which ethylenically unsaturated monomers are polymerized by means of initiators that have a transferable atomic group, and one or more catalysts that contain a transition metal catalyst in the presence of ligands that can form a coordination compound with the metallic catalyst(s), characterized by the fact that the transition metal of the catalyst is oxidized after the polymerization and then the catalyst is separated by filtration, where the composition has a solvent with a dielectric constant ≦4.
