Abstract
A tool for milling and drilling where the rotating tool has a bearing surface provided to cooperate with another bearing surface to take up radial cutting forces. The two surfaces are essentially axially non-slidable when the cutting tool is engaging the workpiece.

An arrangement relating to high-speed tools, comprising in the proximity of a cutting part in the form of a cutting head of the rotating tool, a bearing which takes-up cutting forces that act radially on the tool, essentially axially non displaceable relative the cutting head.
An arrangement relating to high-speed tools, comprising in the proximity of a cutting part in the form of a cutting head of the rotating tool, a bearing which takes-up cutting forces that act radially on the tool, essentially axially non displaceable relative the cutting head, said arrangement further comprising a base part which is fixed in relation to the tool-driving spindle, and a supportive part which extends from the base part and which carries said bearing.
A system for milling and drilling, said system comprising:
- a tool having a cutting head;
- and
- a bearing located in proximity of said cutting head and configured and arranged to receive forces that act radially on the tool,
- wherein said bearing is essentially axially non-displaceable relative to the cutting head, and
- wherein an outer diameter of the bearing is not greater than an outer diameter of the cutting head.
