Abstract
A channel region of a semiconductor layer has an extending portion. The terminal of the extending portion is connected to a first contact hole. The first contact hole is connected to a connecting line. The connecting line is connected to the first contact hole at one end, as described above, extends directly above a capacitor line in the Y direction, and is connected to the capacitor line via a second contact hole at this position.
Claims16
An electro-optical device comprising:
- a substrate;
- a plurality of scanning lines of the substrate,
- a plurality of data lines crossing the plurality of scanning lines on the substrate;
- transistors connected to each of the scanning lines and to each of the data lines;
- pixel electrodes connected to the transistors;
- and
- storage capacitors, an extending portion of a semiconductor layer functioning as a channel region of a transistor being connected to a capacitor line functioning as an electrode of a storage capacitor.
