An organic copper compound represented by the following formula (2):

• wherein L′ is a hexafluoroacetylacetone;
• R′ is an olefinic hydrocarbon moiety with 3 or more carbon atoms;
• Cu is monovalent copper coordinated with the L′ and the R′;
• one or two of X4, X5, and X6 are each an alkoxy group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms;
• the others of X4, X5, and X6 are each an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms or a hydrogen atom;
• and the alkoxy groups or the alkyl groups may be the same or different from each other.

An organic copper compound represented by the following formula (3):

• wherein L′ is a hexafluoroacetylacetone;
• R″ is an olefinic hydrocarbon moiety with 4 or more carbon atoms;
• Cu is monovalent copper coordinated with L′ and R″;
• Y1, Y2, and Y3 are each an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms;
• and Y1, Y2, and Y3 may be the same or different from each other.
