Compositions and methods are provided for modulating the expression of the replication protein A p70 subunit and for the treatment and diagnosis of diseases associated with replication protein A p70 subunit.

An antisense compound 8 to 30 nucleobases in length targeted to a nucleic acid encoding the human Replication Protein A p70 subunit, wherein said antisense compound inhibits the expression of the human Replication Protein A p70 subunit.
