Abstract
Photoluminescence lifetimes are obtained by attaching photoluminescent semiconductor nanocrystals or lanthanide complex incorporated in dendrimer to fingerprint residue which are compatible with time-resolved imaging techniques for latent fingerprint detection.
Claims9
A method for photoluminescence detection of latent fingerprints, comprising the steps of attaching photoluminescent semiconductor nanocrystals to fingerprint residue, exciting the nanocrystals to luminesce and detecting fingerprint luminescence.
A method for photoluminescence detection of latent fingerprints, comprising the steps of attaching to fingerprint residue lanthanide complex incorporated into dendrimer, exciting the lanthanide complex to luminescence and detecting fingerprint luminescence.
