Methods for treating ocular neovascularization using photodynamic therapy in combination with an angiostatic steriod are disclosed.

Dependent claims

A method for preventing and treating ocular neovascularization, which comprises the use of PDT in combination with a compound selected from the group consisting of:

4,9(11)-Pregnadien-17α,21-diol-3,20-dione-21-acetate, 4,9(11)-Pregnadien-17α,21-diol-3,20-dione, 11-Epicortisol, 17alpha-Hydroxyprogesterone, Tetrahydrocortexolone (THS), and Tetrahydrocortisol (TBF).
