Abstract
An angiogenesis promoter and angiogenesis potentiator containing a pyridazinone compound of the formula (I) wherein each symbol is as defined in the specification, or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, as an active ingredient. The pyridazinone compound (I) and a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof in the present invention promote angiogenesis and potentiate the angiogenic effect of a drug having such effect, and are useful as an angiogenesis promoter and angiogenesis potentiator.
Claims8
A method of promoting angiogenesis, which comprises administering a pyridazinone compound of the formula (I)
- wherein R1, R2 and R3 are each independently a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl, X is a halogen atom, cyano or a hydrogen atom, Y is a halogen atom, trifluoromethyl or a hydrogen atom, and A is C1-C8 alkylene optionally substituted by hydroxyl group, or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof.
A method of potentiating an angiogenic effect of a drug having such effect, which comprises administering a pyridazinone compound of the formula (I)
