A complex ester of a carboxylic acid containing at least two carboxyl groups, a polyol, and an alcohol selected from the group consisting of 2,4,6-trimethylnonanol and 2,4-dimethylheptanol.
A dihydrocarbyl dithiophosphoric acid in which at least one of the hydrocarbyl groups is a 2,4-dimethylheptyl or a 2,4,6-trimethylnonyl group.
A metal dihydrocarbyl dithiophosphate in which at least one of the hydrocarbyl groups is a 2,4-dimethylheptyl or a 2,4,6-trimethylnonyl group.
