Claims10
A microparticle comprising macromolecule and polymer, wherein the concentration of macromolecule in the microparticle is at least 40% and less than 100% by weight.
A microparticle comprising a macromolecule and a polymer, wherein said macromolecule is a hormone, and said polymer is a water soluble, linear or branched high molecular weight polymer capable of removing water from the macromolecule.
A method of preparing a microparticle comprising combining a hormone and a water soluble, linear or branched high molecular weight polymer in an aqueous solution, and heating the peptide hormone and polymer for a sufficient period of time to form microparticles.
