Abstract
New molecules having the general formula A:N—B, where A:N— is .alpha.-substituted conjugated cyclic amine, with N being the N atom; and B is an .alpha.-substituted cyclic radical. These materials have ferromagnetic properties and may be use in a variety of fields and particularly in any electromagnetooptical or magnetoresistive system.
Claims25
A solid material with ferromagnetic properties, characterised in that it has one or more organic molecules with magnetic properties, satisfying the following general formula A═N—B in which:
- A═N— is a cyclic imine with a substituted conjugated structure at position α, N being the nitrogen atom;
- and
- B— is a substituted cyclic radical at site α.
A method of manufacturing a material as claimed in claimed 1, characterised in that it includes a step whereby:
- a B—NH2 amine derivative of B— is mixed with a quinone derivative O═A═O of A═ in a solvent.
