Abstract
A composition for crosslinking fibers. The composition displays little foaming, is self-emulsifiable and has good emulsion stability. The composition comprises a compound represented by formula (I) below, and a nonionic surfactant, where R1, R2, R3 and R4 each represent an alkyl group; or R1 and R2, and R3 and R4 may form a ring to be an alkylene group; R5 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and n represents a number of from 2 to 10. The composition may also contain an anionic surfactant.
Claims16
A fiber treating composition, comprising:
- (a) a compound represented by formula (I):
- wherein
- R1, R2, R3 and R4 each, independently, represent an alkyl group;
- or R1 and R2, and R3 and R4, together, form an alkylene group;
- R5 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group;
- and
- n represents a number of from 2 to 10,
- (b) a nonionic surfactant, and
- (c) an anionic surfactant.
