Abstract
A novel protein which is glycoprotein with 120,000 molecular weight and is expressed T lymphoblastic lymphoma and leukemia cells, is useful in the diagnosis of T lymphoblastic lymphoma and leukemia.
Claims12
A method of treating T lymphoblastic leukemia comprising administering material that recognizes the cell surface protein JL-1, wherein JL-1 is a glycoprotein having a molecular weight of about 120,000 dalton, and wherein said material is selected from the group consisting of antibody, antibody fragment, single polypeptide of an antibody fragment, and a ligand.
