Abstract
A multi-layer assembly for fluid and vapor handling and containment systems. The multi-layer assembly comprises an extrudable inner layer of a polymeric material, a first layer of multiphase polymer surrounding the inner layer, a permeation resistance layer of polymeric material surrounding the first layer of multiphase polymer and a second layer of multiphase polymer surrounding the permeation resistance layer.

A multi-layer tubing assembly for fluid and vapor handling and containment systems comprising:
- an extrudable inner layer of polymeric material;
- a first layer of multiphase polymer surrounding said inner layer and having a multiphase morphology wherein one phase is miscible with the polymeric material forming the inner layer and another phase is miscible with a polymeric material forming a permeation resistance layer;
- a permeation resistance layer of polymeric material surrounding said first layer of multiphase polymer;
- and
- a second layer of multiphase polymer surrounding said permeation resistance layer.
