Abstract
A method for purifying β-phenylethyl alcohol, comprising an extractive distillation process in which crude β-phenylethyl alcohol is extractive-distilled using an extraction solvent (A), and an extracting process in which the extraction solvent (A) after use in the extractive distillation process is extracted using other extraction solvent (B).

A method for purifying β-phenylethyl alcohol, comprising
- an extractive distillation process in which crude β-phenylethyl alcohol is extractive-distilled using an extraction solvent (A), and
- an extracting process in which the extraction solvent (A) after use in the extractive distillation process is extracted using other extraction solvent (B).
