Abstract
The invention provides human disease associated protein kinases and polynucleotides (collectively designated DAPK) which identify and encode them. The invention also provides expression vectors, host cells, agonists, antibodies and antagonists. The invention further provides methods for diagnosing and treating disorders associated with expression of human disease associated protein kinases.
Claims7
A purified human disease associated protein kinase (DAPK) comprising an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- a) SEQ ID NOs:1, 2, 4, 5, 6, or 7, and
- b) a naturally-occurring amino acid sequence having at least 90% sequence identity over the complete sequence of SEQ ID NOs:1, 2, 4, and 7, and which retains protein kinase activity.
An isolated polypeptide having a sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs:1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7.
