Abstract
The invention relates to resonator structures of radio communication apparatus. According to the invention, a micromechanical switch and a resonator are realized in a single combined structure. Combination of switch and resonator structures allows the manufacture of very compact filter and resonator structures needed for multi-system mobile communication means.
Claims7
A resonator structure comprising a resonator having a piezoelectric layer, wherein the resonator structure comprises:
- a first conductor and a second conductor for conducting a control voltage,
- at least one of said first and second conductors being in contact with said piezoelectric layer for forming an electrode of the resonator, and
- a bending element for performing a switching function as a response to a control voltage applied to said first and second conductors.
Mobile communication means, characterized in that the mobile communication means comprises a resonator structure, which resonator structure comprises
- a first conductor and a second conductor for conducting a switch function control voltage,
- at least one of said first and second conductors being in contact with said piezoelectric layer for forming an electrode of the resonator,
- a bending element for performing the switching function as a response to a control voltage applied to said first and second conductors.
