Abstract
Growth differentiation factor-10 (GDF-10) polypeptide is disclosed as well as polynucleotides encoding GDF-10, vectors and host cells.
Claims11
Substantially pure growth differentiation factor-10 (GDF-10) having the amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO:5 or SEQ ID NO:25.
An isolated polynucleotide encoding GDF-10 polypeptide having the amino acid sequence as set forth in SEQ ID NO:5 or SEQ ID NO:25.
An isolated polynucleotide selected from the group consisting of:
- a) SEQ ID NO:4;
- b) SEQ ID NO:4, wherein T can also be U;
- c) nucleic acid sequences complementary to SEQ ID NO:4 and
- d) fragments of a), b), or c) that are at least 15 bases in length and that will hybridize to genomic DNA which encodes the GDF-10 protein of SEQ ID NO:5 or SEQ ID NO:
- 25.
