An isolated polynucleotide segment, comprising a polynucleotide sequence or the full complement of said polynucleotide sequence, wherein said polynucleotide sequence comprises a nucleotide sequence which is at least 95% identical to a polynucleotide that encodes SEQ ID NO:2, wherein said polynucleotide sequence encodes a polypeptide having glmU activity.
An isolated polynucleotide segment, comprising a polynucleotide sequence or the full complement of said polynucleotide sequence, wherein said polynucleotide sequence comprises a nucleotide sequence which is at least 90% identical to nucleotides 288 to 1664 of SEQ ID NO:1.
An isolated polynucleotide segment, comprising a polynucleotide sequence of the full complement of the entire length of said polynucleotide sequence, wherein said polynucleotide sequence comprises a nucleotide sequence which is at least 97% identical to nucleotides 288 to 1664 of SEQ ID NO:1.
