Abstract
The invention provides aminopeptidase polypeptides and DNA (RNA) encoding aminopeptidase polypeptides and methods for producing such polypeptides by recombinant techniques. Also provided are methods for utilizing aminopeptidase polypeptides to screen for antibacterial compounds.
Claims8
An isolated polynucleotide segment comprising a polynucleotide sequence or the full complement of the entire length of the polynucleotide sequence, wherein the polynucleotide sequence encodes a polypeptide comprising SEQ ID NO:2 and wherein the isolated polynucleotide segment is not genomic DNA.
