Abstract
An ink jet printer head having a vibrating plate 5 with ink supply holes formed thereon, piezoelectric thin film 4, and electrodes (3 and 5) are formed on a substrate 60 with a separation layer interposed therebetween and the substrate is bonded to an ink jet base. The separation layer is irradiated with light to separate the substrate from the vibrating plate, piezoelectric thin film, and electrodes at the separation element; and the ink jet base is joined with the vibrating plate.
Claims9
A method for manufacturing an ink jet printer head in which a piezoelectric element and an vibrating plate for pressurizing the ink in an ink pressure generating chamber is formed on an ink jet base on which said ink pressure generating chambers are formed, comprising the steps of:
- forming said piezoelectric element and said vibrating plate on a substrate with a separation layer interposed therebetween;
- bonding said substrate and said ink jet base;
- and
- irradiating said separation layer with light so that said substrate is separated from said vibrating plate, on which said piezoelectric element has been established, at the separation layer, and of joining said vibrating plate with said ink jet base.
An ink jet printer head for discharging ink by pressurizing ink in an ink pressure generating chamber, comprising:
- a vibrating plate for pressurizing said ink in said ink pressure generating chamber;
- and
- a piezoelectric element and an electrode formed on the vibrating plate and formed inside said ink pressure generating chamber,
- wherein an ink supply hole is formed at the vibrating plate to provide an ink channel from an ink reservoir to the ink pressure generating chamber.
A method for manufacturing an ink jet printer head in which a piezoelectric element and an vibrating plate for pressurizing the ink in ink pressure generating chambers are formed on an ink jet base on which said ink pressure generating chambers are formed, comprising the steps of:
- forming a separation layer on a substrate;
- forming a common electrode on the separation layer;
- forming a piezoelectric thin film on said common electrode;
- forming a top electrode on said piezoelectric thin film;
- etching said top electrode and piezoelectric thin film according to a pattern for forming ink pressure generating chambers;
- forming a bonding layer on the side where said piezoelectric element has been formed by said etching;
- bonding said ink pressure generating chambers with an ink jet base in which nozzle holes have been formed;
- and
- supplying energy to said separation layer after the bonding to said ink jet base so as to remove said substrate.
A method for manufacturing an ink jet printer head for discharging ink by pressurizing ink in an ink pressure generating chamber, comprising:
- forming a vibrating plate, a piezoelectric element and an electrode on a substrate;
- patterning the vibrating plate, the piezoelectric element and the electrode inside the ink pressure generating chamber;
- and
- simultaneously with the patterning of the vibrating plate, piezoelectric element and electrode, forming on the vibrating plate an ink supply hole into a predetermined shape.
