An inbred sunflower line, designated C9607CM, the plants and seeds of inbred sunflower line C9607CM, methods for producing a sunflower plant either inbred or hybrid, produced by crossing the inbred sunflower line C9607CM with itself or with another sunflower plant, and hybrid sunflower seeds and plants produced by crossing the inbred line C9607CM with another sunflower line or plants and to methods for producing a sunflower plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic sunflower plants produced by that method. This invention also relates to inbred sunflower lines derived from the inbred sunflower line C9607CM, to methods for producing other inbred sunflower lines derived from inbred sunflower line C9607CM, and to the inbred sunflower lines derived by the use of those methods.
Seed of sunflower inbred line designated C9607CM, representative samples having been deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA-2423.
A sunflower plant, and parts thereof, having all the physiological and morphological characteristics of inbred line C9607CM, representative seed of said line having been deposited under ATCC accession No. PTA-2423.
A tissue culture of regenerable cells of a sunflower plant of inbred line C9607CM, wherein the tissue regenerates plants capable of expressing all the morphological and physiological characteristics of the inbred line C9607CM, representative seed of which have been deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA-2423.
The process for producing inbred C9607CM representative seed of which having been deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA-2423 comprising:
A method for producing a C9607CM-derived sunflower plant comprising:
