A compound represented by following formula (I):

• wherein R1 represents an alkyl group, an alkylthio group, an acylamino group, or a ureido group;
• R2 and R3 each represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being substituted;
• A and B each represents a hydrogen atom or a group which can be removed with an alkali;
• —(time)m—PUG is released from an oxidation product of the compound of formula (I), and “time” represents a group releasing PUG after —(time)m—PUG is released from an oxidation product of the compound of formula (I);
• m represents 0 or 1;
• and PUG represents a group represented by following formula (II):
• wherein n represents 1;
• L represents a methylene group, an ethylene group, or a propylene group;
• Y represents a hydrogen atom, a carbamoyl group, or an alkoxycarbonyl group;
• and X represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, an ethyl group, a carboxyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, a cyano group, or a carbamoyl group.
