Abstract
Provided is a novel β-glucosidase from Orpinomyces sp. PC2, nucleotide sequences encoding the mature protein and the precursor protein, and methods for recombinant production of this β-glucosidase.
Claims13
A non-naturally occurring recombinant DNA molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding a fungal β-glucosidase, wherein said encoded fungal β-glucosidase has an amino acid sequence as given in SEQ ID NO:2 from amino acid 1 through amino acid 641, from amino acid −16 through amino acid 641, from amino acid 24 through 641, or from amino acid 33 through 641, or a functionally equivalent sequence with at least 75% identity to one of the foregoing sequences.
