Abstract
The present invention discloses stable vitamin C concentrates suitable for use in a multichamber dispenser. The compositions have a pH above about 5 and preferably should contain a xanthan and/or a carbomer as a viscosifier.
Claims18
An aqueous vitamin C concentrate that is stable to aerobic degradation and has a pH of at least about 5, comprising vitamin C and a viscosifying agent selected from the group consisting of
- (i) acrylic and methacrylic polymers and
- (ii) xanthans.
