Abstract
A printing press having an actuator, includes a chamber partly surrounding the actuator and having a pressure prevailing therein that is greater than the pressure in the outer surroundings of the chamber.
Claims2
A printing press comprising:
- an actuator formed by a conveyor chain;
- cover tabs secured to said conveyor chain;
- guide rails for guiding said conveyor chain;
- a holder for carrying said guide rails;
- and
- a chamber partly surrounding said actuator;
- said chamber defining an interior, an open long side, and outer surroundings outside said chamber having a given pressure;
- said chamber having a pressure prevailing therein greater than the given pressure;
- said interior of said chamber being formed by said holder, together with said guide rails;
- said open long side being covered substantially by said cover tabs and said conveyor chain, said chamber being otherwise closed to a maximum possible extent.
