Abstract
The present invention relates to the use of anionic gemini tensides of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.3 are, mutually independently, a hydrocarbon radical with 1 to 22 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is a spacer containing 0 to 100 alkoxy groups, and X and Y, mutually independently, are functional groups and the degree of substitution Z=1 to 10, in washing, cleaning and body care agents in which the proportion of said tensides amounts to at least 0.1%.
Claims15
A detergent, cleaning product or body care composition using at least 0.1% by weight of anionic gemini surfactants of the formula I ##STR3## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.3 independently of one another are a hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 22 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is a spacer containing from 0 to 20 alkoxy groups, and one of X or Y is a substituent of the formula II
- --(C.sub.2 H.sub.4 O).sub..alpha. (C.sub.3 H.sub.6 O).sub..beta. H(II)
- wherein .alpha.=0 to 50, .beta.=0 to 60, and .alpha.+.beta.=1 to 100, and the other of X or Y is a substituent of the formula III or X and Y are, independently of one another, substituents of the formula III
- --(C.sub.2 H.sub.4 O).sub..gamma. (C.sub.3 H.sub.6 O).sub..delta. FR(III)
- wherein FR is a functional radical --CH.sub.2 --COOM, --SO.sub.3 M, --P(O)(OM).sub.2, --O--C(O)--C.sub.2 H.sub.3)--CO.sub.2 M' or --C.sub.2 H.sub.4 --SO.sub.3 M wherein M, M'=an alkali metal ion, ammonium ion, alkanolammonium ion or 1/2 alkaline earth metal ion, wherein .gamma.=0 to 20, .delta.=0 to 20, and .gamma.+.delta.=1 to 40, and wherein the alkoxide units in the compounds of the formulae II and III are incorporated randomly or in blocks and the sequence is arbitrary, and wherein the degree of substitution Z is from 1 to 10.
