The present invention relates to rubber compositions containing a disodium salt of 2,2'-dithiosalicyclic acid of the formula: ##STR1##
Claims8
A method of processing a rubber composition which comprises mixing
- (i) 100 parts by weight of at least one sulfur vulcanizable elastomer selected from conjugated diene homopolymers and copolymers and from copolymers of at least one conjugated diene and aromatic-vinyl compound;
- with
- (ii) 0.05 to 10 phr of a disodium salt of 2,2'-dithiosalicyclic acid of the formula:
