A method for determining the amount of an antiplatelet compound in a subject being treated with the compound which comprises calculating the ACT number of the subject's blood containing a reagent which immunoreacts with the antiplatelet compound and comparing the figure to a standardized concentration figure. In subjects concurrently being treated with heparin and antiplatelet compounds, the method can be practiced without additional heparin added to the blood sample. The invention also provides reagents which immunoreact with antiplatelet compounds and kits comprising immunoreactive reagents.
A method for determining blood concentration of an antiplatelet compound in a subject being treated with the antiplatelet compound, which comprises the steps of:
A method for determining blood concentration of an antiplatelet compound in a subject being treated with the antiplatelet compound and heparin, which comprises the steps of:
A method for determining blood concentration of an antiplatelet compound in a subject being treated with the antiplatelet compound, which comprises the steps of:
A monoclonal antibody produced by a murine hybridoma cell line, wherein the antibody immunoreacts with a glycoprotein IIb/IIIa antagonist and substantially does not immunoreact with heparin, wherein the monoclonal antibody is an antibody produced by a hybridoma cell line selected from the group consisting of the hybridomas designated ATCC HB-12081 and HB-12082.
Hybridoma cell line designated ATCC HB-12081.
Hybridoma cell line designated ATCC HB-12082.
A monoclonal antibody produced by the hybridoma cell line designated ATCC HB-12081.
A monoclonal antibody produced by the hybridoma cell line designated ATCC HB-12082.
A kit for monitoring the concentration of a glycoprotein IIb/IIIa antagonist in a subject being treated with the antagonist comprising antibody combining site-containing molecules that specifically bind to said antagonist, wherein the monoclonal antibody is an antibody produced by a hybridoma cell line selected from the group consisting of the hybridomas designated ATCC HB-12081 and HB-12082.
