Abstract
The invention relates to biphenylamides having general formula (I), and their salts, in which R.sup.1 is H or F; R.sup.2 is H, halogen, alkyl, halogen methyl, alkoxy, alkylthio; R.sup.3 is CH.sub.3, CHF.sub.2, CF.sub.3. The invention also relates to agents containing biphenylamnides, the production of biphenylamides and their use in combating parasitic fungus. ##STR1##

A biphenyl amide of the formula I ##STR7## and salts thereof, where the radicals R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 have the following meanings:
- R.sup.1 is hydrogen or fluorine;
- R.sup.2 is hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, halomethyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkylthio;
- R.sup.3 is methyl, difluoromethyl or trifluoromethyl.
