Abstract
The use of at least trihydric alcohols and their reaction products with ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide as additive to particulate detergent formulations, especially compact detergents, to increase their rate of dissolving in water in amounts of from 0.1 to 5% by weight based on the detergent formulations.
Claims7
A particulate detergent formulation which contains from 0.1 to 5% by weight of a reaction product of 1 mol of at least one polyhydric alcohol containing at least three hydroxyl groups with 1 to 100 mol of ethylene oxide and optionally, with up to 20 mol of propylene oxide, wherein the reaction product increases the rate of dissolution of the formulation in water.
