Abstract
Liposomal-encapsulated taxane or an antineoplastic derivative thereof or a mixture thereof is provided which is used to effect a therapeutically enhanced method of treating cancer. The liposomal encapsulated paclitaxel allows for administration to a patient in less than one hour.
Claims15
A method of administering taxane to a human patient in need of treatment with taxane comprising administering to the human patient a pharmaceutical composition over a period of less than an hour in an amount from about 75 to 300 mg/m.sup.2 wherein said pharmaceutical composition is liposomal encapsulated paclitaxel.
