Abstract
According to the invention, there is provided inbred corn plant RQAA8. This invention thus relates to the plants, seeds and tissue cultures of the fore-mentioned inbred corn plant and to methods for producing a corn plant produced by crossing one of the inbred plants with itself or with another corn plant, such as another inbred. This invention further relates to corn seeds and plants produced by crossing inbred plant RQAA8 with another corn plant, such as another inbred, and to crosses with related species. This invention further relates to the inbred and hybrid genetic complements of the inbred corn plant RQAA8, and also to the RFLP and genetic isozyme typing profiles of inbred corn plant RQAA8.

Inbred corn seed of the inbred corn plant designated RQAA8, a sample of said seed having been deposited under accession number PTA-301.
A corn plant having all the physiological and morphological characteristics of the inbred corn plant RQAA8, a sample of the seed of said inbred corn plant RQAA8 having been deposited under accession number PTA-301.
A tissue culture of regenerable cells of inbred corn plant RQAA8, wherein the tissue regenerates plants having all the physiological and morphological characteristics of corn plant RQAA8, a sample of the seed of said corn plant RQAA8 having been deposited under accession number PTA-301.
A process of preparing corn seed, comprising crossing a first parent corn plant with a second parent corn plant, wherein said first or second corn plant is the inbred corn plant RQAA8, a sample of the seed of said inbred corn plant RQAA8 having been deposited under accession number PTA-301, wherein seed is allowed to form.
A population of seed consisting essentially of the seed of inbred corn plant RQAA8, a sample of the seed of said inbred corn plant RQAA8 having been deposited under accession number PTA-301.
A purified population of seed of inbred corn plant RQAA8, a sample of the seed of said inbred corn plant RQAA8 having been deposited under accession number PTA-301.
