Abstract
The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for parenteral administration, characterized in that it comprises: from 1.5 to 8% by weight of an active principle consisting of amiodarone or one of the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof a physiologically acceptable buffer solution capable of solubilizing the active principle and of maintaining the pH of the composition between 2.4 and 3.8 a nonionic hydrophilic surfactant.
Claims30
Pharmaceutical composition for parenteral administration comprising from 1.5 to 8% by weight of an active principle consisting of amiodarone or one of the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof which remains stable upon dilution down to a concentration of from 0.05 to 0.2% in active principle, wherein the pharmaceutical composition further comprises:
- a physiologically acceptable buffer solution capable of solubilizing the active principle and of maintaining the pH of the composition between 2.4 and 3.8;
- and
- from 0.5 to 2% by weight of a nonionic hydrophillic surfactant.
