Abstract
The present invention relates to an enzyme exhibiting aminopeptidase activity, a method for producing said enzyme, an enzyme preparation containing said enzyme exhibiting aminopeptidase activity, and use of said enzyme for various industrial purposes.
Claims17
An isolated DNA fragment derived from a strain of Aspergillus oryzae, encoding an aminopeptidase enzyme, wherein the enzyme comprises one or more of the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NO:6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11.
An isolated DNA fragment encoding an aminopeptidase enzyme comprising the DNA sequence of SEQ ID NO:1, or a fragment thereof encoding a polypeptide exhibiting aminopeptidase activity.
An isolated DNA fragment encoding an aminopeptidase enzyme, which DNA fragment hybridizes to a DNA depicted in SEQ ID NO:
- 1 under the following conditions:
- hybridizing in 2.times.SSC, 5.times.Denhardt's solution, 100 .mu.g denatured sperm DNA for 48 hours at 65.degree. C. followed by washing at 65 .degree.C. in 2.times.SSC, 0.5% SDS in 2.times.SSC, 0.5% SDS in 2.times.SSC, and 2.times.SSC.
