Abstract
Disclosed is a water-floating microbial pesticide comprising a microorganism, a water-in-oil type surfactant, oil, and powder having a low bulk specific gravity. Also disclosed are a method for producing the water-floating microbial pesticide and a method for using the water-floating microbial pesticide.
Claims18
A water-floating microbial pesticide comprising a microorganism, a water-in-oil surfactant, oil, and powder having a low bulk specific gravity.
A method for producing a water-floating microbial pesticide, which comprises suspending a microorganism in water, adding oil containing a water-in-oil surfactant to the resultant suspension and mixing with each other, and adding powder having a low bulk specific gravity to the resultant mixture to obtain the microbial pesticide.
A water-floating microbial pesticide formulation, comprising:
- an effective pesticidal amount of a microorganism;
- a water-in-oil surfactant;
- oil formulation;
- and
- a powder having a bulk specific gravity of not more than 1.
