Abstract
New vulcanization accelerators, corresponding to the formula ##STR1## are particularly suitable for the production of vulcanized rubbers modified with lateral polar groups.
Claims8
A vulcanizable rubber composition containing a vulcanization accelerator corresponding to the formula ##STR8## where A represents OH, OCOR.sup.5, OR.sup.5, COOR.sup.5, NR.sup.6 R.sup.7 or CN, wherein R.sup.5, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 are the same or different and represent hydrogen, or C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkyl or C.sub.6 -C.sub.10 aryl radicals, and
- R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 are the same or different and represent H, C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.10 aryl, CH.sub.2 OR.sup.5, CH.sub.2 COOR.sup.5 and CH.sub.2 OH.
A vulcanizable rubber composition containing a vulcanization accelerator selected from the group consisting of those having the following formulae;
