Abstract
Process for rendering ash inert, according to which a reactant selected from phosphoric acid and alkali metal phosphates is added to the ash, the phosphate-containing mixture thus obtained is subjected to puddling with water and a hydraulic binder so as to form a hydraulic mortar, and the mortar is subjected to setting and hardening.

Process for rendering ash containing heavy metals and aluminium metal inert, the process comprising:
- adding a reactant selected from the group consisting of phosphoric acid and alkali metal phosphates to the ash, subjecting the phosphate-containing mixture thus obtained to puddling with water and a hydraulic binder so as to form a hydraulic mortar, and setting and hardening the mortar.
