Abstract
Compounds having the formula F(CF.sub.2).sub.q --(CH.sub.2).sub.p-1 --COX' wherein q ranges from 6-15, p ranges from 3-15 and X' is halogen are useful as reactants for hydroxylated block copolymers or polyamines to produce fluorinated polymers.

Compounds having the formula
- F(CF.sub.2).sub.q --(CH.sub.2).sub.p-1 --COX'
- where q ranges from 6 to 15, p is 4 or ranges from 6 to 10, and X' is halogen.
Compounds having the formula
- F(CF.sub.2).sub.q --(CH.sub.2).sub.p-1 --COX'
- where q ranges from 6 to 15, p is 4 or ranges from 6 to 10 or 12 to 15, and X' is halogen.
Compounds having the formula F(CF.sub.2).sub.q --(CH.sub.2).sub.p-1 --COX' wherein q is 7 or ranges from 9-15, p is 3, 5 or 11, and X' is halogen.
