Abstract
Multilayer structure having a first layer of a fire retardant polyolefin comprising composition and a second layer of a polyamide comprising composition comprises up to 20% by weight of a phosphonate ester having the structure: ##STR1## wherein the value of "x" is 0 or 1.

A multi-layer structure comprising:
- a first layer comprising a composition comprising a fire retardant polyolefin, and,
- a second layer comprising a composition comprising a polyamide and a phosphonate ester of the formula:
- ##STR3##
A multi-layer structure consisting essentially of:
- a first layer comprising a composition comprising a fire retardant polyolefin, and,
- a second layer comprising a composition comprising a polyamide and a phosphonate ester of the formula:
- ##STR4## wherein x is 0 or 1.
