Abstract
The improved canopy preferably includes a flexible material and a first bow adapted to be connected to a juvenile product and connected to a first edge of the flexible material. The first bow includes a rotational bearing surface to allow for adjustment to a variety of angles with respect to the juvenile product. The improved canopy also includes a second bow adapted to be connected to the juvenile product and connected to a second edge of the flexible material, the second bow includes a rotational bearing surface to allow for adjustment to a variety of angles with respect to the juvenile product.
Claims36
A canopy for a juvenile product to provide protection from sunlight, comprising:
- a flexible material;
- a first bow connected to a first edge of the flexible material, the first bow including a c-shaped connecting end portion adapted to be pivotally and detachably connected to the juvenile product to allow the first bow to be adjustably positioned relative to the juvenile product;
- and
- a second bow connected to a second edge of the flexible material, the second bow including a substantially c-shaped connecting end portion adapted to be pivotally and detachably connected to the juvenile product to allow the second bow to be adjustably positioned relative to the juvenile product.
A juvenile carrier comprising:
- a frame including a connection portion;
- a first bow having a substantially c-shaped connecting end portion pivotally and detachably connected to the frame connection portion, the frame connecting portion and the c-shaped connecting end portion of the first bow allowing the first bow to be adjustably positioned relative to the frame;
- a second bow having a substantially c-shaped connecting end portion pivotally and detachably connected to the frame connection portion, the frame connecting portion and the c-shaped connecting end portion of the second bow allowing the second bow to be adjustably positioned relative to the frame;
- and
- a flexible material having a first edge connected to the first bow and a second edge connected to the second bow, the flexible material being adapted to provide sunlight protection.
A juvenile carrier comprising:
- a frame including a connection portion, a head portion, and a foot portion;
- a first bow and a second bow each including a substantially c-shaped connecting end portion pivotally and detachably connecting to the frame connection portion, the c-shaped connecting end portions of the first and second bows and the frame connecting portion allowing the first and second bows to be adjustably positioned relative to the frame;
- and
- a flexible material having a first edge and a second edge connected to the first and second bows, respectively, the flexible material being adapted to provide sunlight protection,
- wherein the first and second bows are adjustable between a first position where the first edge of the flexible material is disposed substantially adjacent to the head portion of the frame and a second position where the second edge of the material is disposed substantially adjacent to the foot portion of the frame.
A canopy adapted to be detachably connected to a juvenile product to provide protection from sunlight, the canopy comprising:
- a flexible material;
- and
- a first bow connected to a first edge of the flexible material, the first bow including a substantially c-shaped connecting end portion adapted to be pivotally and detachably connected to the juvenile product for adjusting the first bow relative to the juvenile product.
A canopy adapted to be connected to a juvenile product, the canopy comprising:
- a flexible material;
- and
- a bow connected to a first edge of the flexible material, the bow comprising a first bow component having a first coupling portion and an identical second bow component having a second coupling portion, the first and second coupling portions being inverted relative to each other to form a complimentary coupling the first bow component and the second bow component being coupled together by interconnecting the first and second coupling portions, each of the first and second bow components having a connecting portion that connects to the juvenile product.
