Abstract
An electrophotographic imaging member comprising a charge generating layer comprising trigonal selenium particles and a charge transport layer, the charge transport layer including a protonic acid or Lewis acid, a charge transporting small molecule, a film forming polymer, and polyalkylene-block-polyethylene oxide. This imaging member may be fabricated using a suitable solvent for applying the charge transport layer.
Claims15
An electrophotographic imaging member comprising a charge generating layer comprising trigonal selenium particles and a charge transport layer, the charge transport layer comprising
- a protonic acid or Lewis acid,
- a charge transporting small molecule,
- a film forming polymer, and
- polyalkylene-block-polyethylene oxide.
A process for fabricating an electrophotographic imaging member comprising providing a charge generating layer comprising trigonal selenium particles, forming a charge transporting layer coating composition to the charge generating layer, the coating composition comprising a charge generating layer and a charge transport layer, the charge transport layer comprising
- a protonic acid or Lewis acid,
- a charge transporting small molecule,
- a film forming polymer,
- solvent, and
- polyalkylene-block-polyethylene oxide, and
- drying the coating to form a charge transporting layer.
