Abstract
The present invention provides compositions and methods for utilizing recombinant alphavirus vectors. Also disclosed are compositions and methods for making and utilizing eukaryotic layered vector initiation systems.
Claims20
A eukaryotic layered vector initiation system comprising a eukaryotic promoter 5' of viral cDNA which initiates within a cell the 5' to 3' synthesis of RNA from cDNA, wherein said RNA comprises a vector construct which autonomously amplifies in a cell, said vector construct expressing a heterologous nucleic acid sequence.
