Oximether and acrylic acid derivatives and their use as fungicides

Compounds of the formula (I) ##STR228## in which Ar represents optionally substituted arylene,

• E represents .dbd.CH-- or nitrogen,
• G represents a single bond, represents oxygen, sulphur or represents respectively optionally halogen-, hydroxyl-, alkyl-, halogenoalkyl- or cycloalkyl-substituted alkanediyl, alkenediyl, alkinediyl or one of the groupings below --Q--CQ--, --CQ--Q--, --CH.sub.2 --Q--;
• --Q--CH.sub.2 --, --CQ--Q--CH.sub.2 --, --CH.sub.2 --Q--CQ--, --Q--CQ--CH.sub.2 --, --Q--CQ--Q--CH.sub.2 --, --N.dbd.N--, --S(O).sub.n --, --CH.sub.2 --S(O).sub.n --, --CQ--, --S(O).sub.n --CH.sub.2 --, --C(R.sup.3).dbd.N--O--, --C(R.sup.3).dbd.N--O--CH.sub.2 --, --N(R.sup.4)--, --CQ--N(R.sup.4)--, --N(R.sup.4)--CQ--, --Q--CQ--N(R.sup.4)--, --N.dbd.C(R.sup.3)--Q--CH.sub.2 --, --CH.sub.2 --O--N.dbd.C(R.sup.3)--, --C(CH.sub.3)--O--N.dbd.C(R.sup.3)--, --N(R.sup.4)--CQ--Q--, --CQ--N(R.sup.4)--CQ--Q--, --N(R.sup.4)--CQ--Q--CH.sub.2 --, --Q--C(R.sup.3).dbd.N--O--CH.sub.2 --, --N(R.sup.4)--C(R.sup.3).dbd.N--O--CH.sub.2 --, --O--CH.sub.2 --C(R.sup.3).dbd.N--O--CH.sub.2 --, --N.dbd.N--C(R.sup.3).dbd.N--O--CH.sub.2 --, --C(.dbd.N--O--R.sup.5)--C(R.sup.3).dbd.N--OCH.sub.2 --, --C(.dbd.N--O--R.sup.5)--C(R.sup.3)--O--N.dbd.CH--, --C(.dbd.N--O--R.sup.5)--C(R.sup.3)--O--N.dbd.C(CH.sub.3)--, --T--Ar.sup.1 or --T--Ar.sup.1 --Q--, where
• Ar.sup.1 represents optionally substituted arylene, heteroarylene, cycloalkylene or heterocycloalkylene,
• n represents the numbers 0, 1 or 2,
• Q represents oxygen or sulphur,
• R.sup.3 represents hydrogen, cyano or respectively optionally substituted alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkylamino, dialkylamino or cycloalkyl, and
• R.sup.4 represents hydrogen, hydroxyl, cyano or respectively optionally substituted alkyl, alkoxy or cycloalkyl, and
• R.sup.5 represents hydrogen or alkyl, and
• T represents a single bond, represents oxygen, sulphur, --CH.sub.2 --O--, --CH.sub.2 --S-- or represents optionally substituted alkanediyl,
• R.sup.1 represents alkoxy,
• R.sup.2 represents cyano, thiocyanato, alkylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl, aminocarbonyl, aminothiocarbonyl, alkylaminocarbonyl or dialkylaminocarbonyl, and
• Z represents respectively optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or heterocyclyl or a grouping ##STR229## in which A.sup.1 represents alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or cycloalkyl having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and
• A.sup.2 represents optionally cyano-, alkoxy-, alkylthio-, alkylamino-, dialkylamino- or phenyl-substituted alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkenyl or alkynyl having in each case 2 to 4 carbon atoms.
