Abstract
In a double-sided image forming apparatus for forming images on both front and back surfaces of a recording medium by two image forming units, an image position adjusting means is provided for matching the positions of the images formed on both front and back surfaces of a recording medium by the two image forming units.

A double-sided image forming apparatus comprising:
- two image forming units for forming images on both front and back surfaces of a recording medium;
- image position adjusting means for matching the positions of the images formed on both the front and back surfaces of the recording medium by the two image forming units.
