Abstract
A light sensitive composition and a manufacturing method of a planographic printing plate employing the same are disclosed, the composition comprising a radical generating agent and a dye represented by the following formula (1), (2) or (3): ##STR1##

A light sensitive composition comprising a radical generating agent and a dye represented by the following formula (1), (2) or (3):
- ##STR12## wherein in formula (1), R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group or a 5- or 6- membered heterocyclic ring residue;
- X represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom;
- L.sub.1 represents a nitrogen atom or a methine group;
- and B.sub.1 represents a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring residue;
- and in formula (2) or (3), R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group or a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring residue;
- X' represents an oxygen atom;
- L.sub.2, L.sub.3, L.sub.4, and L.sub.5 independently represent a nitrogen atom or a methine group;
- and B.sub.2 and B.sub.3 independently represent a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring residue.
