Abstract
The invention is textured surface release layers for dielectric substrates used in liquid electrostatic imaging processes. The invention also includes means of providing textured release surfaces for dielectric substrates, and a method of liquid electrostatic imaging using textured dielectric substrates.
Claims6
A dielectric substrate comprising:
- a substrate, a conductive layer coated on the substrate, a dielectric layer and a release layer, wherein the dielectric layer is coated on the conductive substrate, wherein the release layer is coated on the dielectric layer and has a texture on the outer surface thereof wherein the texture has a lateral surface roughness of between about 0.1 and 1000 .mu.m and a vertical surface roughness of between about 0.01 and 5 .mu..
