The present invention relates to thermal insulation gas mixtures comprising cyclopentane and argon for filling cavities.

A gas mixture comprising cyclopentane and argon for filling thermal insulation cavities, comprising from 1% by volume of cyclopentane in 99% by volume of argon to 5% by volume of argon in 95% by volume of cyclopentane.
A polymer foam having thermal insulation cavities and a gas mixture filling said thermal insulation cavities, said gas mixture comprising a blend of cyclopentane and argon, comprising from 1% by volume of cyclopentane in 99% by volume of argon to 5% by volume of argon in 95% by volume of cyclopentane.
